Last updated: 8 December, 2025

1. What are cookies?

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, Nadi use them, the types of cookies we use, and how you can manage your cookie settings. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function properly, improve security, support features, enhance user experience, and allow us to understand website performance. Cookies used on our public website are different from cookies used inside the Nadi Calendar, which is our secure, login-only area.

2. How we use cookies?

We use both first-party cookies (set by Nadi) and third-party cookies (set by services we use, such as analytics and hosting providers). We use cookies to:

  • operate the website securely
  • remember your consent preferences
  • understand how visitors use our website
  • improve site performance
  • deliver relevant content and advertising (with consent)
  • support secure login to the Nadi Calendar

Non-essential cookies (analytics and marketing) only load after you give consent through the cookie banner.

3. Cookies on the public website (nadi.health)

These cookies fall into four categories: Necessary, Functional, Analytics, and Marketing.

4. Cookies used inside the Nadi Calendar (secure login area)

The Nadi Calendar is a private, secure, login-only area where users can track their menstrual cycle phases, cycle length, and receive predicted fertile window insights. Because these functions require authentication, the Calendar uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to maintain secure sessions.

These cookies do not track users for analytics or advertising, and they are only set after you log in.

CookieDurationPurpose
sb-access-tokenSessionAuthenticates your session securely within the Nadi Calendar.
sb-refresh-tokenPersistentAllows your login to remain active without repeatedly signing in.

These cookies are essential for securing your account and protecting any sensitive health information you choose to add to the Nadi Calendar.

5. Sensitive data within the Nadi Calendar

The Nadi Calendar may process health-related information that you enter, such as:

  • cycle length
  • predicted fertile window

This information is never stored in cookies.

It is stored securely in our database (Supabase) with strict access and encryption controls. A full explanation of how we protect health data appears in our Privacy Policy.

6. International data transfers

Some third-party providers (such as Google, Meta, Intercom, and Supabase) may process data outside your country, including in the United States. When this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required under UK GDPR/EU GDPR.

7. Managing your cookie preferences

You can modify your preferences at any time by clicking Consent Preferences on our website. You can withdraw consent for analytics or marketing cookies whenever you choose.

You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings:

For other browsers, please consult their support documentation.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect product changes or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
